8 things I’m grateful for 💛

To my readers in the United States, Happy Thanksgiving! If you live elsewhere, I’m sending you my best wishes as 2020 comes to a close.

Today, I wanted to share 8 things I’m most grateful for.

🌴 My life in Puerto Rico

In April 2019, I moved to Palmas Del Mar, a beautiful resort community in Puerto Rico. I have to say, it’s one of the top 3 best decisions I’ve ever made in my life, along with starting my business.

Before Puerto Rico, I lived in New York for 18 years, but the fast-paced, city lifestyle started to wear on me. In Puerto Rico, I learned to slow down, connect more with nature, and deepen my relationship with myself. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been!

🐱 My cat, Tiger

When I left a relationship a few years ago, I gave up my cat, Trio. It took me a long time to recover from the heartbreak of losing my kitty.

Being single and traveling so much, it didn’t feel like the right time to get another cat. But when COVID hit and the whole world was quarantining, I thought I’d foster cats to keep me company.

One of the cats, Tiger, won my heart… and I just knew I couldn’t let him go. He’s been such a playful companion, who always reminds me of the power of using your voice. He squawks like a bird whenever he wants attention (which is often) and has become my morning alarm clock.

💗 My friends

I feel grateful to have so many soul-nourishing relationships in my life. I mastermind weekly with a small group of female entrepreneur friends who live in my community. I go to the beach, hang out by the pool, or go hiking with my friends every week. I take short, local trips with my girlfriends to the coolest hotels and Airbnbs in Puerto Rico, where we have a blast.

⭐️ My team

The saying is true… it takes a village. I’m grateful to have a rockstar team of A-players, including my coaches, Lynya Floyd and Jamie Gulino Davis, and my leadership team.

They always have my back, and are so committed to serving our clients and students at the highest level.

💪 Being in great physical shape

Since March, I’ve been consistently working out five to six times a week. I’ve also adopted lots of great, daily habits — including having a healthy morning smoothie, taking daily vitamins, drinking lots of water, and sleeping 8 hours or more a day.

As a result, I’m feeling strong and am in the best shape of my life.

📸 Getting better at video

Being on video, or on stage, used to be my biggest fear. But nowadays, people who are new to me can hardly believe I struggled so much with having the spotlight on me.

This was no accident. Not only have I been working on this skill for years, but in 2020, I invested in a speaking coach, did regular Facebook Lives inside the Impacting Millions® group, and even hired a Salsa dance instructor who I meet with once a week on Zoom. While learning to dance was just for fun, it has helped me feel more confident in my body. I even walk differently now!

🖤 Supporting BIPOC entrepreneurs

June 2020 marked the height of the Black Lives Matter movement, with massive protests taking place all across the globe. It was a huge wake-up call that I, too, need to be doing more to make a difference.

As our company takes on major initiatives to support BIPOC (black, indigenous, and other people of color) entrepreneurs, I’m feeling deeply grateful for this opportunity to learn, grow, and make a bigger impact.

💥 Launching our Impact Accelerator Program

At Impacting Millions LIVE, we launched a new program offering: Impact Accelerator. It focuses on three core areas to grow your business: publicity, partnerships, and promotions.

While the program officially kicks off in January 2021, we’re enrolling people now and giving them access to special bonuses so they can start the new year strong!

If you’d like to explore how me and my coaches, Jamie and Lynya, can support you, you can book a 1:1 exploration call here.
